Instructor: Assoc. Prof. Fiona Meyers

  • Fiona graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 1996 and then practiced in the United Kingdom and Australia for 2 years.
     
  • In 2001, she completed her PhD and was awarded Membership of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
     
  • In 2006 she completed her residency in cardiology at the University of California, Davis and an externship at the paediatric cardiology facility of Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
     
  • Fiona currently works at Veterinary Specialist Services (Queensland) and teaches in the School of Veterinary Science.
